This is me... Since 10/7/23 was a cathartic exercise to try and process the soul-crushing horrors we have all witnessed during the Palestinian genocide at the hands of Israel and the United States. The artwork was originally created for the 2024 season of QUICHE; I wrote the poem as I worked on the screenprinting setup and created an accordion-style artist’s book to ensure that I never forget the utter depths that this hurt caused me and the rest of humanity.
