I worked with Nick Moss to create décor for Quiche, a queer dance party in San Francisco. My dog Suqa helped me sew the panels together so they’d be easy to store.

I sewed and painted 4 30”x60” panels depicting dancing figures that served as the backdrop for the party. I used the principles of block printing to color block the clothing and the limbs of the dancing figures in playful poses. I also block printed 35 flowers that were sprinkled throughout.

The lighting was done by Stratus Lighting, sound by Waveworks AV.
